The Wesley bowling team emerged as Runners up in the HFC Inter School Bowling tournament held on 27th January 2012. The Wesley bowlers faced the challenge boldly by ascertaining their status as Men of Grit against the strong teams of Royal, St Peters, Zahira, Nalanda and Combined schools.
After a tightly fought out contest, Wesley were unfortunate to go down to Nalanda College by a slim margin of 30 points and had to be satisfied with the Silver Medals presented for the Runner Up of the event. Nalanda College was crowned as Champions of this year’s event.
Dilan Selvadurai of the Wesley Bowling team once again bagged the Bowler of the Tournament award for the 4th consecutive year.
The Team: Ajith, Dilan, Milan, Gavin & Isthiaq

Wesley Lads led by Mahdi Samat kicked off their campaign with a stunning win against Prince of Wales at the Lanka Lions Cricket Sixes held on 20th January 2012. Considering with the rain and chirpy cold weather continuing in the morning the lads were able to qualify for the Plate Quarter Finals.
The Quarter Finals demonstrated the best of both Ananda & Wesley and it was a nail biting finish with Wesley going down in their attempt of qualifying to the Semi Finals. The commitment and enthusiasm of the Wesley team is highly commendable.
